Answer:None of A.C.A.N.s modules or courses require hands on training. Question: How long do your courses take to complete?
Answer: While many individuals come to us with some knowledge of the subject/subjects they will be studying, others may be starting from beginner level. For this reason time-frames will vary, also every individual has a different threshold for learning and some modules will take longer to complete due to the amount of content. The time limit for individual modules varies from three (3) months to complete to five (5) months. However, if a circumstance should arise where the student requires an extension of time to complete a module, the student may request an extension. This way every student has the opportunity to produce their best work under the most 'favorable, relaxed conditions'.
Question: May I make monthly payments on the courses?
Answer: No, full courses must be paid in full at the time of registration. However, the courses are broken out into individual modules which may be purchased one at a time as you are able to afford them. Prices are listed on the Courses page.
Question: What if something should happen I can not finish a full course, may I get a refund?
Answer: No, there are no refunds. However, as stated above, if an extension is needed in the length of time to complete the course or module, please contact ACAN.
Question: What kind of coursework or assignments can I expect to do?
Answer: Each module is taken one at a time within a course/program. When required books are read, audios listened to and DVDs watched for that particular section or module, the student will be required to exhibit what they have learned by writing an essay and creating their own brief test on the module before moving on to the next.. (more details will be available in the syllabus made available at the time of registration and enrollment).
Question: What if I do not receive a passing grade on a coursework assignment?
Answer: Should this be the case (and it hardly ever happens) you will be given the opportunity to re-sit your assignment with no additional fees involved providing it is re-done in a timely fashion. We are not trying to 'catch you out'. We want you to enjoy your studies and achieve the success you deserve. We help and encourage everyone to be successful. Our role is to 'educate our students', Students enjoy studying with us and usually will stay studying with us, working through different natural modalities and in some cases going on to doctorate studies in animal naturopathy and becoming a certified animal naturopath.
Being certified IN animal naturopathy does not give you the title of animal naturopath. The title of animal naturopath or doctor of animal naturopathy can only be earned by taking and passing the doctorate level program (currently only being offered at Kingdom College of Natural Health at this time).
