All of our classes and certification programs are only offered online,

Learners should have:

  • a passion for animals with a desire to see them thriving
  • a computer or iPad
  • independent computer skills
  • a general knowledge of internet technology
  • be able to access the internet
  • be fluent in the English Language.

 

The American Council of Animal Naturopathy, LLC was the first and is still, the only cetifying organization of its kind that teaches true animal naturoapthy. We have certification programs in small animal naturopathy/small animal natural health coach/consultant and equine naturopathy/equine natural  animal health coach/consultants.

The intent of being certified is to provide assurance to the public that the graduat has successfully completed an approved educational program and an evaluation process assessing their ability to provide quality care in his/her specialty.

For practitioners, being certified is much more than a credential. Being certified by the American Council of Animal Naturopthy in animal naturopathy establishes you as a dedicated professional with the knowledge and skills to uphold high standards of excellence in animal naturopathy.

Upon completion of our certification programs, our graduates are also eligible to obtain board certification from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (http://www.aadp.net). The AADP is dedicated to promoting an enhanced professional image and prestige among practitioners of traditional and non-traditional therapies and methodologies and offers many professionals benefits to assist members in establishing their practice.

Small Animal Natural Health Coach / Small Animal Naturopathy Certification

Course Description

Certified Small Animal Natural Health Coach/Small Animal Naturopathy (dogs and cats)
This course is designed for those who are working in or who wish to work as a natural animal health coach/practitioner, providing education, advice and support for clients and their animals to improve, achieve and maintain true health through natural means.

If you are a groomer, breeder, small animal business owner, dog trainer, etc.  or you simply want to take an active role in improving animal health naturally, then this is a course for you.

With a focus on the principles of animal naturopathy, species specific nutrition and total wellness – mind, body and spirit, this program course will educate the student in how to be an effective naturopathic, small animal, natural health coach/consultant/practitioner.

Our certification courses are rigorous, challenging and engaging. Not only will we transform the way you think about natural animal health, we will transform the way you go about helping animals thrive!

The course consists of six separate,  accredited, class modules:

  1. Philosophy of Animal Naturopathy
  2. Carnivore Nutrition
  3. Better Understanding of Vaccines
  4. Naturopathic Approach to Pests & Parasites
  5. Introduction to Natural Healing Modalities
  6. Animal Naturopathy Consulting/Natural Animal Health Coaching

All classes are modular, and the student will enroll in and pay for each class, one at a time, in the order listed above.  Student will not be able to move to the successive class until the previous one is completed with a passing mark.

Please Note:

When you are taken to the enrollment form after paying the tuition, please be sure to check that you are enrolling in the small animal health coach/small animal naturopathy certification course.

There is a three-year time limit on completion of the Small Animal Certificate Course. We do understand extenuating circumstances, and any reasonable request for a time extension on course work completion will be reviewed individually.

A computer (or laptop) and a basic technical knowledge of working online is required for our classes and courses. The longer audios in our classes will not download on to a mobile device.

As in most educational courses, the student will be required to purchase books and/or DVDs in addition to the course/module fee. Each class has its own required text-book reading as well as essays or projects that are used to determine a passing grade before the student can proceed to the next class.

The cost of these materials will vary with each class module. As you enter other classes the costs may drop or rise depending on the class as you will have some of the materials from previous class modules now in your possession.

Certified Natural Equine Health Coach/Equine Naturopathy

This course/program is designed for those who are working in or who wish to work as a natural equine health coach/practitioner, providing education, advice and support for clients and their horses to improve, achieve and maintain true health through natural means.

If you own a horse, work with horses, teach horsemanship, own a boarding stable or riding academy or you simply want to take an active role in improving equine health naturally, then this is a course for you.

With a focus on the principles of animal naturopathy, species specific nutrition and total wellness – mind, body and spirit, this program course will educate the student in how to be an effective naturopathic, equine natural health coach/consultant/practitioner.

This certification program covers the philosophy of naturopathy, basic anatomy and physiology, the natural laws of health, equine nutrition, the adverse effects of vaccinations including alternatives to the use of conventional vaccination protocols, a basic introduction to various natural healing modalities and drug alternatives, and how to conduct a natural health consultation for horses.

The principles of animal naturopathy state that the body has the ability to heal itself by its vital force; disease is the resistance by this force to abnormal conditions in the body, disturbing the normal functioning of its organs and tissues and, naturopathy is a holistic modality which approaches the animal as a whole and not merely the symptoms of the complaint. The goal of this course will be for the student to gain a working understanding of how to support a healthy lifestyle for dogs,cats and horses that effectively combines the properties of physical function, immunity and mental wellness. Coursework will include the use of books, articles, audios and webinars.
