Raw Fed Pets Digest

There is a brand new digital magazine available and it is OUTSTANDING in its presentation of the principles of animal naturopathy published by another of our awesome student’s at the American Council of Animal Naturopathy, Kristin Clark!!

Here is a little bit about Kristin:

When I started raw feeding and naturopathy for my dogs, I looked around for a magazine that provided clear, factual information about the topics that I wanted to know more about: raw feeding, essential oils, herbal remedies, a holistic approach to health, and the mind/body/spirit connection, to name just a few. I couldn’t find any magazines that really fit the bill. While there were 1 or 2 magazines that talked about diet and alternative medicine, they didn’t seem to follow the naturopathic approach, and often they seemed to step back a bit from the truth to avoid stepping on advertiser’s toes. I searched for a magazine that went deeper and that looked at health holistically and in all its aspects. I also wanted to find a magazine that wasn’t afraid to go against the mainstream beliefs about pet care and diet that we have today. I wasn’t able to find anything like this, so I spoke with one of the founders of the American Council of Animal Naturopathy, Dr. Jeannie Thomason, about what I was looking for. She and I discussed the need for a magazine like this, and I decided that, since there wasn’t one out there, I would start one. My goal with the magazine is to help start and contribute to a mainstream conversation about how we care for and relate to our dogs and cats, and to provide information about topics ranging from nutrition to health care to specific information about various illnesses that present when the body is out of balance.

I have a background in writing, editing, and teaching, and so I felt that I was uniquely suited to fill this niche. I am currently working on obtaining certification as an animal naturopath through ACAN. I also had a dog training business and a pet sitting business, but since discovering this passion for animal naturopathy and Raw Pet Digest, I have focused on that and no longer maintain an active dog training or pet sitting business.”

Kristin is a phenomenal student and we are so blessed she joined us to further her already vast knowledge.

This is a FANTASTIC first issue, especially for anyone wanting to learn more about raw feeding or on the fence about raw feeding.

Here is the link to read and view this first edition:

This first issue is available free. Please share it far and wide and if you know someone who would love to advertise in it, please refer them to Kristin (see the magazine for details).

Please share this information and the link with all the raw feeders you know so they can share with those who desire to learn more. It’s a great new place to advertise as well.

Here is an update from Kristin on how to subscribe to the magazine:
Hi everyone! Some people have been asking how to subscribe to Raw Pet Digest, so I wanted to share that information with everyone. Annual subscriptions are $15/year (6 issues). You can subscribe in one of two ways:

2) I can send you an invoice that you can pay using any major credit card or debit card (with a Visa or Mastercard logo).

The next issue will be put out on or about June 1, 2015. Please feel free to share subscription information with anyone who might ask. And thanks again! I hope you all have a wonderful day! And thanks to all who have shared with others so far. The response has been more than I could have ever dreamed! 🙂
